This was my first computer. A Tandy Radio Shack TRS-80 III

Do any of you recognize this computer?? It was my first.? 1982.? Tandy Radio Shack TRS-80.? I have always been a maverick, and in this show I talk about nurturing mavericks that bring us the future.? I am so thankful for my boss Arno Enns who said “Yes” when I asked if I could have my own PC!? I was the first in our organization.

In this show I cover:

  1. Who are mavericks?
  2. What makes them so special?
  3. How do we recognize them?
  4. Why do we need them?

Books to recommend: Pour Your Heart into It and Onward: by Howard Schultz, founder and CEO of Starbucks and a true Maverick.

Quote of the Show: If you don?t like change, you?re going to like irrelevance even less.?
General Eric Shinseki, Former US Army Chief of Staff (4 Star General)

  1. Love and applaud the idea of mavericks, Hans. There still has to be mutual accountability, trust, and appreciation for one another, or the maverick and the energy they provide may fail.

    1. Thank you Henry for this feedback. I could not agree more. There are probably a lot of un-mature mavericks that cause more harm than good if they are not part of the team effort. Thanks for listening.
